I have lived in Salt Lake my whole life and had never even heard of, let alone been to Gilgal Garden before we were assigned it for our walkabout. It is no surprise I have never heard of it after seeing it. If you don't know exactly where it is and what you're looking for you'll miss it. It was originally the artist's backyard, so it is just in a neighborhood tucked behind other houses. Even knowing where it was supposed to be we originally walked right past it without realizing it was there.

It had a well defined boundary, there was a fence running around the perimeter. The actual garden was a node, because you could go into it. The bridges and sidewalk and rocks were different pathways. All the different pieces of art contained in the garden were landmarks.
From what we saw it seemed like Gilgal Garden wasn't a very popular place. We didn't see a single person while we were there. It seemed like it was a place where LDS people might go for activities.
Overall it was an interesting place, but it had an odd feeling to it.
